EST now provides full-service food safety testing and consultation
EST is proud to announce that, through our partnership with food safety authority IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group, we are now providing full-service food safety testing. The importance of food safety to the population cannot be overstated. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has estimated that every year in the United States 48 million (or 1 in 6) people get sick from a foodborne illness. Of this 48 million, 3,000 people die and 128,000 are hospitalized. Fast, accurate, and definitive testing can help to reduce these numbers by preventing contaminated food from being made available to the public.
Our goal is to facilitate the production of wholesome foods
through expedited laboratory testing.
Located in Louisville, Kentucky, EST provides a central hub to support food manufactures in Kentucky and Indiana. We are available seven days a week for food sample receiving and testing. We use accredited molecular analyses to provide fast sample analyses and reporting. Results for your products are available within 24 hours upon receipt, stopping pathogens before they leave the warehouse.
